Dhaka, Dec. 15 -- Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Mohammad Abdul Momen has warned that a disturbing change in power relations-where bureaucrats increasingly seek patronage from politicians-poses a grave risk to the country's system of governance.

"In the past, politicians would approach bureaucrats. Now the situation has reversed. Bureaucrats are going to politicians and declaring, 'I am your man,'" he said while speaking at the inauguration of the Citizen Platform's Reform Tracker in the capital on Sunday.
