Adviser of Fisheries and Livestock Ministry, Farida Akhter on Sunday, Stressed on giving lease of all water bodies to the genuine fishermen rather than others.
"Only the fishermen will get a lease of the water bodies, others are not," she said while exchanging views with the registered fishermen of haor areas including Mithamoin, Itna and Astogram haor upazilas of Kishoreganj.
In this connection, the adviser revealed that more culverts would have to be constructed on 'all weather roads' for increasing reproduction of fish in haor areas and ensuing smooth breeding flow of water.
