Dhaka, March 25 -- Home Secretary Nasimul Ghani assured on Tuesday that no untoward incidents will occur across the country during the upcoming nine-day Eid vacation, as strict security measures have been put in place.
"We are fully alert, along with the police force, to ensure a peaceful Eid holiday. The current stability in law and order will continue," he stated during a press briefing followed the signing of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) between Bangladesh and Australia at the Home Ministry in the Secretariat , reports BSS. He emphasized that nationwide security vigilance remains in effect as usual. Additionally, two officers from the Home Ministry have been assigned to oversee security arrangements round the clock.
