Dhaka, Nov. 26 -- Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus highlighted that Bangladesh's livestock sector has become a key pillar in ensuring sufficient animal protein-essential for building a healthy, capable and resilient nation.

Bangladesh is set to observe National Livestock Week 2025 for the first time, with nationwide programmes taking place from tomorrow through December 2.

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus released a message marking the occasion. He said the country is celebrating the inaugural National Livestock Week 2025 under the theme, "Indigenous breeds, modern technology: Livestock will drive development forward."
