Dhaka, Dec. 11 -- BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is currently undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with her condition being closely monitored by a team of national and international medical specialists.

Khaleda Zia's personal physician, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain on Wednesday night said it to journalists at the hospital.

The physician said, Khaleda Zia is receiving the exact level of advanced medical care necessary for a critically ill patient and is responding to the treatment.
