Dhaka, April 9 -- The iconic Bengali New Year celebration 'Channel i-Shurer Dhara Hajaro Konthe Borshoboron' is set to return on April 14 at 6:00am in the capital's Rabindra Sarobar, said a press release.

After a three-year break, the event is making a full-scale comeback featuring thousands of voices welcoming the New Year 1432 through choral performances and cultural displays. Artists from across the country, including indigenous performers, will participate. The celebration begins on April 13 evening with a traditional 'Chaitra Sankranti' fair featuring folk elements like Nagor Dola, Lathi Khela, and stalls selling local crafts and utensils.
