Dhaka, July 1 -- Environment, Forests, Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan on Sunday said the government has taken a series of proactive steps aiming to contain air pollution, with a strong focus on controlling dust pollution in Dhaka.
Talking to journalists at the Bangladesh Secretariat here following a meeting with a visiting team of Chinese air pollution experts, she outlined the government's comprehensive plan addressing immediate, mid-term and long-term solutions under the Bangladesh Clean Air Project (BCAP), reports BSS.
The adviser said as part of short-term measures, all road repair works in Dhaka are targeted to be completed before winter.
