Dhaka, July 31 -- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has warned that any wrong move by the government could jeopardise the country's democratic transition, potentially paving the way for the resurgence of fascism and extremism.
"Any wrong step by the government can push the journey of democracy into crisis. Fascism, extremism and radicalism can raise their heads. So, we all, especially, the interim government must remain extremely careful," he said.
