Dhaka, March 18 -- The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has issued 16 instructions aiming to ensure emergency medical services in government hospitals during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr vacation.
The instructions were issued in an office order signed by DGHS Director (Hospital and Clinics) Dr Abu Hussain Md Moinul Ahsan on Tuesday, reports BSS.
The following instructions have been issued for the management of medical services in hospitals during the Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 holidays:
The presence of full-time doctors should be ensured by deputing additional doctors in the emergency department, if necessary.
The emergency department, labor room, emergency OT and lab should be kept open round the clock.
