Dhaka, Sept. 12 -- Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Md Shafiqul Alam said that country will face dire consequences if the parliamentary election is not held in February.

"The DUCSU election is the reflection for the next general election which will be good one. The political parties, civil society and students have set good example. No untoward incident took place at DUCSU election," he said.

Alam came up with the remarks while addressing a roundtable titled "Fair Election : Expectation and Challenges" organised by Citizen Coalition held at CIRDAP auditorium in the capital on Thursday.
