Dhaka, July 10 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday said the Awami League has acted in favor of fascism and genocide, and every individual involved must be punished.

They should be brought under the rule of law. Especially the party chief Sheikh Hasina-her trial has already begun. We hope that everyone involved in these killings, the genocide, and the fascist attacks will be tried. From that perspective, if the party is brought under the purview of the law, then it too should be held accountable and tried collectively."
