Dhaka, Nov. 30 -- BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince has said that the determination he is witnessing in the eyes of rural people, and their unwavering trust in the paddy-sheaf symbol, is truly extraordinary.
"Just as we have had a bumper harvest of paddy this season, the February elections will also see a bumper vote in favour of the paddy-sheaf," he said.
He was speaking at an impromptu street meeting at Mission Road junction in Haluaghat town this evening.
Earlier, from Friday afternoon, he walked through various parts of Haluaghat Bazar from the paddy wholesale area to the high school meeting residents, traders, sellers and buyers.
