Dhaka, Dec. 29 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the party is committed to implementing laws based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. He stated, "We are 95 percent Muslim. We are committed that no law will be enacted outside the Qur'an and Sunnah."
He made these remarks on Sunday at a views-exchange meeting with Islamic scholars at the Manab Kalyan Parishad premises in Salandar Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila.
