New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- Former India skipper Virat Kohli has made his much-anticipated return to the Ranji Trophy, playing for Delhi against Railways from January 30 onwards in the 2024-25 season, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. However, unlike his hefty international earnings, the Indian batting legend will receive a comparatively modest fee for this domestic match.

As per the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) domestic pay structure, players who have featured in 20 to 40 Ranji Trophy matches earn Rs 50,000 per day.
