Anantnag, Feb. 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) on Friday appointed Imran Amin Shah as new Vice president of JKNC in South Kashmiri's Anantnag district.

As per the order issued by JKNC, it states that "In compliance to the instructions received from Party Patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Mr Imran Amin Shah, resident of Dialgam Anantnag is appointed as Vice President, JKNC district Anantnag".

Shah expressed gratitude to the leadership of JKNC especially Dr. Farooq Abdullah for reposing faith in him.
