Kulgam, April 25 -- Kulgam Police carried out searches at the residences of terror associates in various areas of south kashmiri's Kulgam district as part of its efforts to curb anti-national activities, an official said.

An official told that on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kulgam Sahil Sarangal, Kulgam Police had carried out searches in various areas including Qazigund, Devsar, Mirbazar, Kulgam, DH Pora, Manzgam, Nihama Yaripora, Behibagh and others places.

"The search operations were meticulously planned to gather evidence and disrupt activities that pose a threat to peace and stability in the region, the police spokesperson said.
