Kulgam, March 26 -- Four persons were injured in a road accident at Churat area of Qazigund in South Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday, official said.

An official told that took place at Churat when one speedy Tavera bearing registration number JK13B 8382 hit one alto car bearing registration JK18C 9085 at Churat resulting in the injury to four people.

The injured were immediately taken emergency hospital Qazigund, where their health condition is stated to be stable.

They have been identified as Uzma Hamid daughter of Ab Hamid Laway of Sangas kharwat, Rukhsar wife of Mehran Hamid of Sangas, Gulabi wife of Ashiq Hussain bhat of YK pora and Muskan of YK Pora.

Meanwhile police took cognizance of this accident.
