Kulgam, 30 May 2025 - In a significant move aimed at strengthening tuberculosis (TB) control efforts, Dr. Shauket Ahmad Parray, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kulgam, officially initiated the district's preparations for the 100-Day Active Case Finding (ACF) Campaign under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP).
During a high-level meeting convened today at the CMO Office, Dr. Parray finalized the district-wide action plan to identify and screen high-risk populations for TB. The campaign is set to cover 18 vulnerable population groups, as per national guidelines.
