Qazigund, March 24 -- Ahead of Shabi Qadr and Eid-ul-fitr Authorities on Monday inspected the market in Qazigund town to uphold quality standards and regulate prices.

An official told that a joint team of revenue, Police led by SHO Qazigund and food experts conducted market checking across the town to ensure all essential commodities are sold at government approved rates as per the quality standards with sufficient availability of consumables.

"Various business units including Kiryana, bakery shops, mutton shops, and chicken and vegetable vendors were checked during the inspection" he said.
