Jammu & Kashmir, July 28 -- The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has banned six government doctors from medical practice under the Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY)/SEHAT scheme after they were found guilty of engaging in unethical practices.

The Health and Medical Education Department, through Government Order No. 509-JK (HME) of 2025, issued today, confirmed that these doctors had either practiced privately during official duty hours or made unethical referrals to private Empanelled Health Care Providers (EHCPs).
