Jammu & Kashmir, July 9 -- Police on Tuesday stated to have successfully restored Rs 62 lakhs to Mir Firasath Ali Khan, a complainant from Hyderabad, who fell victim to cheating and fraud in Jammu.
"The case, investigated by SDPO Bakshi Nagar, Dr Satish Bhardwaj under the supervision of SSP Jammu and SP South highlights the commitment of the Jammu Police to justice and victim-centric approach," a Police spokesperson said.
The complainant, Mir Firasath Ali Khan, had approached Police Station Bahu Fort, alleging that certain individuals from Jammu were attempting to sell him fake diamonds in the guise of renowned Kashmir Blue Sapphires.
