Jammu & Kashmir, July 30 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has directed all officers and officials stationed in Srinagar and Jammu to attend the main Independence Day functions to be held on August 15, 2025, at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar and Maulana Azad Stadium Jammu as part of their official duty.

According to a circular issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), quoted by the news agency KNC, Independence Day is an important national event celebrated on the 15th of August every year.
