Jammu & Kashmir, May 8 -- The Jammu and Kashmir administration has announced a series of precautionary measures, including the closure of educational institutions, suspension of employee leave, and cancellation of Haj flights, in response to the prevailing security situation in the region.
The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir has ordered the closure of all educational institutions, including schools and colleges, in Baramulla, Kupwara, and Gurez on May 8 as a precautionary step. The directive also extends to schools near Awantipora and Srinagar Airport.
