Jammu & Kashmir, July 30 -- In a tragic incident in the high-altitude region of eastern Ladakh, two Indian Army personnel, including a Lieutenant Colonel, lost their lives while three others sustained injuries when a boulder fell onto their vehicle during a convoy movement near Charbagh, close to Durbuk in the Galwan sector, officials said on Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 11:30 AM during a routine training movement from Durbuk to Chongtash, roughly 200 kilometres from Leh. A massive boulder, dislodged from a cliff, came crashing down onto one of the Army's SUVs, severely damaging the vehicle and injuring all five occupants onboard.
