Killing An Act Of 'Gang Rivalry': Police

Srinagar: Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday shot dead a youth in broad daylight in the Old City area of Nawa Kadal here, with police claiming the killing as an act of 'gang rivalry'.

25-year-old Meeran Ali Pathan, a professional body-builder and gym trainer was shot at and critically injured by unidentified gunmen in Bulbul Lanker locality near Nawa Kadal here on Tuesday, reports said. Pathan, as per the reports, was removed to the nearby SMHS hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
