Srinagar, July 18 -- An official said that the deceased was identified as Kala Pawar, wife of Udashi Pawar, a resident of Busawal, Maharashtra. She was reportedly selling pooja and mala items in the area when she collapsed.

Authorities said she was immediately shifted to the Base Hospital Baltal, where doctors declared her brought dead, he said, as per news agency JKNS.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started.
