Srinagar, Feb. 17 -- The MeT office said "there is nothing significant till February 18".

It said on February 19 and 20 the weather will remain general cloudy with the possibility of light to moderate rain and snow at many places. The precipitation is very likely to start during the late afternoon of Wednesday till the evening of Thursday.

The plains of Kashmir and Jammu may receive light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds at a few places.

Higher reaches of Chenab Valley and South Kashmir may receive moderate snowfall of 6 to 10 inches while higher reaches of north and central Kashmir may receive 4 to 8 inches, the MeT office said.
