Srinagar, March 24 -- The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has announced a nationwide agitation against the bill, with large-scale demonstrations planned in Patna and Vijayawada on March 26 and 29, respectively, as part of the first phase of the protest.

A parliamentary joint committee has already submitted its report on the proposed amendments to the Waqf Bill. While the bill has yet to be formally listed for discussion, there is growing speculation that it may be tabled during the ongoing Budget session.
