Srinagar, May 14 -- According to official reports, the fire gutted a four-storey residential house belonging to Rashid Mahmood, son of the late Ali Mohammad Najar. The adjoining house, jointly owned by Mohammad Shafi Dar and Feroz Ahmed Dar, sons of Ghulam Rasool Dar, was also completely consumed by the flames. A third house, owned by Mohammad Yousuf Jan, son of the late Mohammad Maqbool Jan, suffered partial damage due to the intensity and spread of the fire.

Three individuals sustained injuries during the incident and were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment. They have been identified as Manzoor Ahmed Dajoo, Suhaib Shafi, and Riyaz Ahmed Sofi. All three are reported to be in stable condition.
