SRINAGAR - Normal life remained crippled for the fourth successive day on Monday due to a strike in Shia dominated central Kashmir district of Budgam against killing of an Iranian Army general in a US airstrike on Friday.

However, public and private transport was plying normally in the district. Meanwhile, massive protests were reported in the border town of Kargil during the last 24 hours against the airstrike.

A police official said there was no restriction in any part of Budgam though security forces have been deployed in strength to maintain law and order.
