Srinagar, Dec. 9 -- Srinagar is poised for a significant urban overhaul as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday reviewed a slate of transformative projects planned for the city under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI). With a strong focus on lakefront beautification, heritage conservation and neighbourhood revitalisation, the Srinagar proposals are among the most ambitious urban interventions taken up in recent years.
