Srinagar, March 22 -- According to officials from the Fire and Emergency Services Department, they received a distress call at 6:07 AM and immediately dispatched teams to the location. Despite a prompt response, the fire spread rapidly, consuming homes and destroying property worth crores.

Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos as residents scrambled to save their belongings. "We woke up to screams and saw flames engulfing the houses. We barely managed to escape with our families," said one affected resident.
