SRINAGAR - A shutdown was observed on Saturday in parts of Kashmir and the Kargil district of Ladakh Union territory to mourn the killing of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Commander Qasem Soleimani in a US air raid on Friday.

According to reports, Shia dominated areas of Valley observed shutdown for the second day today against the killing of Soleimani and Iraqi paramilitary commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in a brazen air strike ordered by US President Donald Trump.
