Srinagar, Oct. 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday disclosed that over rs 31 crore has been collected from job aspirants as application fees, even as it clarified that there is no proposal under consideration to abolish the practice.
In a written reply to a question raised by Peoples Conference (PC) MLA Sajad Gani Lone, the Minister in-charge of the General Administration Department (GAD) informed the House that a total of rs 31,75,32,400 has been collected by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) since the present government assumed office.
