Srinagar, Sept. 8 -- The Meteorological Department (MeT) has predicted more spells of rain and thunderstorms across Jammu and Kashmir till September 12.

Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad that generally cloudy weather is expected today with one or two spells of light rain and thunder at many places, with brief moderate showers possible in isolated districts of Jammu division.

He said that from tomorrow, hot and humid conditions will prevail, accompanied by brief spells of rain and thunder at a few places, continuing till the evening of September 12.

Dr Ahmad also warned of a fresh spell of light to moderate rain and thundershowers at many places during the early morning and morning hours on September 13.
