Poonch, Oct. 26 -- Three residents of Mendhar in Poonch district, where Army's search for militants who killed nine soldiers has exceeded two weeks, were arrested by the police from Kathmandu airport in neighbouring Nepal.

Official sources told a local news agency that the trio were reportedly trying to flee the country on a flight to Saudi Arabia from Kathmandu but were detained before they could have boarded the plane.

Sources said that the police are questioning the trio who are suspected of providing logistics to the militants possibly hiding in dense woods of Nar Khas in Bhata Dhurian village of Poonch.
