India, Dec. 12 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday launched a special enforcement drive against vehicles operating without mandatory ownership transfer after sale or purchase, in an effort to prevent misuse of non-transferred and non-local registrations.
The drive was carried out across several districts in the Valley, where police teams were deployed to identify and impound vehicles that have not been formally transferred to the new owner, along with vehicles bearing outside-state registration numbers being driven without valid documentation.Textiles & Nonwovens
