Srinagar, Sept. 2 -- Responding to the circulating claims, the DC told reporters that a technical team has already inspected the viaduct and surrounding stretches.

"We have verified the reports with our engineers, and there are no such cracks on the Viaduct. The area is totally safe, there is nothing to worry about," he assured.

The Deputy Commissioner, however, cautioned that due to continuous heavy rainfall in Ramban district, people must adhere strictly to advisories issued by authorities
