India, Feb. 18 -- The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has disposed of an environmental plea challenging a proposed Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) battalion camping site in Srinagar after authorities informed the tribunal that the project had been withdrawn.

The case was heard by the Principal Bench of the NGT, chaired by Justice Prakash Shrivastava along with Expert Member Dr A. Senthil Vel, in Original Application No. 496/2025 filed by Ghulam Mohiudidin Shah and others; their counsel, Advocate Saurabh Sharma, told Kashmir Observer.
