Srinagar, Oct. 26 -- After incessant rain and snowfall in Kashmir, temperature continued to rise across the Valley, barring Pahalgam and Gulmarg meadows where sub-zero temperature was recorded during last night, officials said on Tuesday.

An official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 7.4degC against 6.5degC on the previous night.

Qazigund, the gateway town of Kashmir, recorded a low of 6.2degC against previous night's 4.8degC, the official said.

Pahalgam, the famous resort in south Kashmir, recorded a low of minus 1.7degC against 0.2degC on the previous night, he said.
