Srinagar, July 3 -- According to an official statement, the EoW-formerly Crime Branch Kashmir-submitted the charge sheet before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, against Numan Farooq Wani of Umarabad, Zainakote. He is accused of submitting fake medical credentials at the time of his engagement at SKIMS Bemina.

The case (FIR No. 01/2023) was registered following a complaint that Wani had been working at SKIMS Bemina since December 2016 and was drawing a salary from the government exchequer based on forged medical documents. The complaint alleged that his MBBS, MD certificates, as well as MCI and State Medical Council registration numbers, were all fake.
