Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), KPDCL, the outages are part of planned activities to upgrade infrastructure, replace conductors, carry out branch cutting, erect poles, and strengthen the network to ensure more reliable electricity supply in the coming months.

As per the schedule, the33KV Khanda Tap linewill remain shut from8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.on14 and 19 Augustfor conductor stringing. This will affect the33/11KV Receiving Station at Khanda, disrupting supply toChattergam, Magraypora, Suthsoo, Gowherpora, and adjoining areas.
