Srinagar, April 23 -- From Srinagar to the southern and northern parts of the valley, residents, traders, students, and political leaders stood together, condemning the attack and sending a clear message: Not in our name.

Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir witnessed an unprecedented shutdown, the first since August 2019 when Article 370 of the Constitution was abrogated.

The streets were lined with protestors, holding placards reading Stop Innocent Killings and We Stand United Against Terror, as locals from all walks of life voiced their anger and dismay. They called for effective steps to root out terrorism once and for all.
