Srinagar, March 27 -- The data states that around 1,400 trucks loaded with sheep arrived in the Valley this month.

It states that in the last week alone, 60 to 70 trucks were transported, while in the first 24 days of Ramazan, 30 to 35 trucks arrived daily. "Each truck carried approximately 150 sheep, with each sheep priced accordingly."

A mutton dealer from Srinagar said that the stock remained available throughout the month, and the demand was strong. He said that compared to the previous year, the market conditions were favorable, with steady sales and good returns for suppliers.
