Kashmir, Ladakh Continue To Reel Under Sub-Zero Temperatures
Srinagar, Nov. 28 -- Pahalgam coldest at minus 4.0degC in Valley, Drass records minus 12.1degC
Srinagar- Most parts of Kashmir and Ladakh continued to reel under sub-zero temperature with Pahalgam remaining the coldest place in the Valley on Monday.
A meteorological department official said that Srinagar witnessed mist this morning and recorded a low of minus 1.8degC against minus 2.1degC on the previous night. The temperature was 0.9degC below normal during this time of the year for the capital city so far, he said, as per news agency GNS.
Qazigund recorded a low of minus 1.6degC against minus 1.4degC on the previous night. The temperature was 0.6degC below normal for the gateway town of Kashmir, he said.
