Srinagar, Dec. 4 -- The Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Thursday said six toll plazas are currently operational on National Highways in Jammu and Kashmir-generating Rs 507.56 Crore in 2024-25 and 290.41 crore in the ongoing fiscal year.
The disclosure was made in a written reply by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to an unstarred question in the Lok Sabha.
According to the Ministry, J&K recorded toll revenue of rupees 507.56 crore in 2024-25, while the collection in the first seven months of the current financial year (April-October 2025) stood at rupees 290.41 crore.
