Srinagar, June 30 -- Hearing a Public Interest Litigation, a division bench of Chief Justice Arun Palli and Justice Rajnesh Oswal adjourned the matter for four week after A.R. Malik, Senior Additional Advocate General, sought the same.

Malik submitted that the process as regards the scrutiny of the applications, received by authorities, was in progress and shall be concluded within four weeks. "Not much time would be required to constitute the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights," Malik submitted and urged the Division Bench to defer the proceedings by four weeks so as to apprise the Court of the further progress made in this regard.
