Srinagar, July 10 -- A high-level meeting chaired by Dr. Piyush Singla, Secretary of the IT Department, brought together key stakeholders from the government, academia, and planning bodies. The group includes representatives from IIT Jammu, IIM Jammu, JaKeGA, SeMT and the Planning Department - tasked with identifying scalable models that could transform J&K's tech infrastructure.
Dr. Singla emphasized that the UT must "adopt best practices from leading IT Parks in India" to ensure both sustainability and long-term impact. The ambitious plan envisions replicating the success of renowned ecosystems like Hyderabad's HITEC City and T-Hub, Kerala's Technopark, and the IIT Madras Research Park.
