Srinagar, Oct. 27 -- Jammu and Kashmir reported on Wednesday 70 fresh cases of novel coronavirus while 86 more patients recovered from the deadly infection in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

According to officials, 64 new cases of coronavirus were reported from Kashmir Valley and the remaining 6 from Jammu division, thus taking the total number of people infected by virus in J&K to 331865.

In the Valley, officials said, Srinagar registered highest 49 new cases of virus followed by Budgam, Ganderbal and Baramulla with 3 each, while Bandipora reported two new cases of coronavirus. The remaining five districts of Valley, including Pulwama, Kupwara, Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian reported no case of virus.
