Srinagar: J&K administration is all set to rename a college and a major road in Srinagar after two Kashmiri Pandits who according to a media report were "hounded out" of Kashmir Valley in early nineties.

According to a report Srinagar district administration has already forwarded names of Padma Shri awardee late Moti Lal Keemu and poet late Zinda Koul for the purpose.

Government Degree College Hyderpora is proposed to be renamed after Moti Lal Keemu, a resident of Zaindar Mohalla in downtown Srinagar, who left Kashmir in early nineties.

Similarly, iconic Lal Mandi Road will be named after Zinda Koul alias 'Masterji'. He was ...
